Dominion's Wasp Defense
Wasps are an insect that we at Dominion Pest Control LLC., have a "love-hate" relationship with.

We love that wasps help to pollinate plants and control populations of nuisance insects, but we hate that they often build nests on or near our homes, which may put us or our children and pets in danger.
Identified by a stinger on their hind end, wasps are consisted of but not limited to: yellow jackets, hornets, paper wasps, and mud daubers.

While many people often attempt (and fail) to deal with wasp nests on their own, we highly recommend contacting the professionals to ensure the safety of you and your family.

It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Wasps are social insects who communicate with each other through the use of chemicals known as pheromones. When a wasp stings, they simultaneously emit a chemical that will signal the colony to attack.
Unlike bees, wasps can sting a target multiple times because their stinger does not fall off after use.
Generally wasps will not sting you if they have not been threatened by swatting or other rapid movements. They may land on you but they will leave if you stay calm and do not move quickly.

If you have a wasp nest on or near your home, the first step in taking back your home is to contact us.
